I to am diabetic, but no longer take insulin injections,
I control it with diet. Have not yet developed the inclination for-----UGH! 
Exercise.....

I do not eat anything with added sugar (sucrol) but I am not afraid to eat 
fruits (frucrol) . If your blueberry/mango does not have added sugar, you 
should be OK.
I would test your blood sugar before and 25 mins. After eating it.

The main thing I have learned is to eat small amounts several times a day.
