Hi Chuck;
With a sink tip, I usually have to roll cast the line and leader up to
the water surface before I can perform a back cast.

When you call tell Jeff I said hello. I have no financial interest but
these are good people to deal with.

That (fly fishing with a sinking tip, or fully sinking line) is something
I have never tried. Say on a sinking tip line, when you go to re-cast, and the
line, leader, tippet and fly are underwater, does that make it real hard to
pull all that up and out of the water?? I would suppose that instead of a jerk,
you’d just pull smoothly till you got the line back up atop the water, then
re-cast as normal right ??? Or wrong?? Do those sinking lines take a while to
get used to?? Thanks, Chuck

You will not be disappointed I have used both their floating and sinking
lines and have never found fault with them, other than they are sometimes hard
to find when you want a new one.

I never have, but at that price, I think I will try at least the sinking
tip, because the fish are suspended in deeper water right now, till they
go
into the shallows to spawn starting in April sometime, and I plan to try
and
get out to the lake before that happens. Chuck

Wayne,
I've got a DT 5wt, a WF 6 wt. and a WF 3 wt. and am pleased with all
three of them.
