Chuck,I have really have not been able to get out and fish much at all for the
past two years but I have tyed some WRD's for others that have fished them.
Last year I tyed a dozen for a friend that fishes for Crappie and White Bass.
He said he caught a load of them on the WRD. In years past I have done very
well on it for Trout and Gills.Tony

wing White over black bucktail (Sparse) Do not let the wing extend past
the bend of thehook more than 1/8"or the fly will foul. This fly MUST be
fishedwith a sinking tip line. Adding splitshot ruins the action of the fly.
Use short and long strips with longpauses. The fish will most offen take onthe
pause. The fly will suspend if tiedcorrectly. It's a simple fly totie but
very effective.
