Hi Al: Adobe is changing the way it is doing business. I purchased Lightroom 5 Christmas 2013 and they have just recently released Lightroom 6, however one can get the latest versions of Lightroom and Photoshop by monthly subscription of $9.95/month as an online web based program. It is rumoured that Lightroom 6 may be the last time that it can be purchased as a software program on a disc and all future version will be web based. I suspect that Adobe makes more $$$ that way.
