You don't need the dubbing kit. All you need to do the very same thing is two wire tooth kitty brushing brushes available in any pet store. Use them like wool cards against each other, wire teeth to wire teeth, with the bits of yarn and sparkle in between, and for about $10.00 you have your dubbing kit in hand. I use this all the time. Works great. The Regal Revolution is a great vice, but it doesn't spin as the Norvise vise does. I have both, but find the Norvise superior. Check out both. Jyce
