Rick sounds like you had a very good season. What part of the Midwest do
you live in? I am in Michigan. I had two favorite fish this year. One was
a 17" stream brown with an 11" girth, weighed 3 1/2 pounds, second favorite
a 36" hen steelhead caught in a local creek. Both are my favorites because
they were caught in the Detroit area. I have caught other very nice fish
but to catch fish like that locally in an area that is know for its warm
water fishery just strikes my fancy. I caught the steelhead on a copy of
one of the foam swap flys the crayfish one while fishing for smallmouths in
the being of October.
