Well...I'll go on record here. When you attach hardware aka spinners etc to your fly, it is no longer a fly. You might want to check your local regs on FF only waters and see if they are within the legal realm. The recent article in Fly Tying will more than likely result in my NOT renewing my current subscription. If I was interested in that type article, I'd subscribe to Field & Stream or BassMasters. Shall we now call a Mepps lure a fly? Or is it flyfishing just because you can throw a small Rapala with a fly rod? I think not! No offense intended towards the spin fishers...I am still one of those...;^) But let's call a fly a fly and a spinner a spinner...I see no need to combine the two just to create a crossover. keep tyin'...or lure buildin'...byard
