Ed... All I'm saying is that when you add hardware it is no longer flyfishing... Will it catch fish...of that I'm certain. Is there any thing wrong with doing it...not at all. But at some point...it can no longer be called a fly...or flyfishing. Personally, I would not consider a fly with spinners attached a fly...I also would include epoxy creations, where the _majority_ of the lure is covered with epoxy, in the no-fly category. ...byard
