Caddis flies belong to the order Trichoptera, moths belong to the order Lepidoptera. So it is quite obvious that they are not the same.

did you look up the Phylum, Class, Family, Genus, Specie, sub specie,
race and strain, too?
See, here's how the analogy works........ calling a lure a fly is like calling a moth a caddis....... except in that particular instance, in which Byard was making a staunch statement to the reverse that a lure is not a fly..... hence a caddis is not a moth....... so that in saying so, quite obviously .....
