good point, will try it. Currently my setup is that the head has appr. 30
degree from horizontal. The more vertical setup might help to keep the wast
falling in my basket, which is mounted below the vise.

The best way to access the tiny hooks in a Regal is to turn the head up
almost
vertical if you can. This will give you full access to the small hook. There
is
one little disadvantage, the bobbin will hang close to the vise stem. Using
a
bobbin rest will take care of that.
I find it real easy to tie small hooks on a Regal that way.
