Scott... This is a prime example of why you should stay on the list. I 
asked a question yesterday and got lots of help... in 24 hours. The first 
reply that contained precisely the information I needed came in 17 minutes 
after I posted my problem. (Thanks again [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Several 
other people posted good alternatives. Now that's what I call service.

If you've hit a snag, others have encountered it before (that's why all of 
those flies are on that same stick). The great thing about the people on 
this list is that they are more than willing to help you with it--they're 
enthusiastic about helping you with it.

I have quit using the nail knot and also the needle knot. I
have gone to the braided loop. I know, some people hate them
and others love them. After I found the ones I like , that
is all I will use.
I am not a dry fly fisher, the loop may not be the best for
dry fly fishing. I am only guessing.
