Dean, I have quit using the nail knot and also the needle knot. I have gone to the braided loop. I know, some people hate them and others love them. After I found the ones I like , that is all I will use. I am not a dry fly fisher, the loop may not be the best for dry fly fishing. I am only guessing. Tony [EMAIL PROTECTED]
