I too have a 4 piece 4wt Legend Ultra and have fallen in love with it 
several times over. I also enjoy Gloomis's rods although not having much 
experience with them. Overall if you are looking for a well rounded dry fly 
rod I would definantly go with the St. Croix. I wouldn't attempt much 
nymphing with it.
