Dan I think it depends on the interest level.  My Dad doesn't fish or hunt.
It is a part of my heritage, so he went out of his way to teach me.  His
family was very well to do till WWII (my folks are from Germany)  He made
sure I learned to fish, hunt & shoot.  At the age of 73 he still can out
shoot me with peep sights.  He served in both the USA Army (Korea) & the
German.  The USA is his home & he never looked back to his coming here.
Neither of my folks do.  They meet here & both say Germany was where they
where born, the USA is their home & support it in all ways.  After living
under Hitler that is easy to understand.  I am sorry that I got off topic.
