you might also give though to using a football jig mold.  The lead is mainly under the shank.  You could snipe off abit at each end of the ball & glue or epoxy eyes on.  Try doll eye the way the shiver drives the fish nuts!  The way the jig is weighted, it will shimmy & dance as it merrily dances down till      (CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMP) big ole eye, smallie or pike :)

    you can go to this site and order blank or different site jig mold i have one that goes to 1/32or1/64th to 1/8th, and they have the     jig hooks  to     there are 6 diffierent sizes or you can get in one mold the blank ones you could make what ever you want. the site is [do-itmolds.com] you try them and see i have about a dozen molds it's not to easy to find lead, they might even have that to i'll look,mike
