Dave,
The bend area is full of opportunities. One of my favorite spots is just
above bend at Davis Lake. It is restricted to flies only. There are plenty
of rainbows in the 15 to 20 inch range along with kokene salmon and atlantic
salmom. A float tube or small boat is best but I have fished from the shore
with success.Try the Odel arm of the lake, There are other lakes close to
davis within 10 minutes (Crane Prarie and Wikiup Res.) and the upper
Deschutes.
