Hopefully, I don't offend our C&R people -from time to time I keep a trout for dinner. (2 - 4 a year) This spring I checked the contend of my trout's belly. Lot's of ants and black stonefly. My question: How does the color change, when the flies are eaten. Had the living insects really been black or is the color changing after a certain time.
