Rene,
I am certainly not a qualified expert but I will give you my opinion
anyway.  Ants for sure have a tough chitinous exoskeleton which should not
change color.  I would think if anything they would get lighter due to
stomach acidity but I don't think the chitin would change even in the acid
environment.
