    Thanks Paul...  and everyone else..


this thread has yield some good information......   I have to wait for
the doctor's appointment, so the 'glasses that do everything'  will be a
while...

  meantime its time to fish , and I think I am gonna give the flip up
magnifiers a run for the interum....  I like my existing sunglasses, 
and flipping is easier than taking on and off, and carrying something
else along..

   peering over a pair of glasses, no matter how narrow, annoys the crap
outta me....
