About a year and a half ago I bought some of the long genetic saddles
for dry flies.  They are so good to tie with that it makes me wish
I'd done so before that.  The feathers are so consistent that it
really makes my flies look great, because the hackle stems are so
thin and strong.  Also, there's less waste since only the amount
needed is used.  Parachutes are significantly easier to tie, and
conventional shoulder hackles go on fast and look great.  

It's worth an experiment to see if they work for you too.  The sizes
you mention are well covered by these saddle products.
