Rick:

I know that Lambertville is right on the river. But I don't know enough about that area to give you much help.
I have heard that there are Tiger Muskie in the Delaware. I know that there is a run every year of Shad. But I suspect it is too late for that now. There should be small mouth bass in there, and probably trout. Trout can get washed down stream from the West Branch.
Ed Engle lives in upstate New York and should be able to give you some info.

Subject: [VFB] Fishing around Princeton NJ

I'm headed to Lambertville, NJ (near Princeton) in a few weeks and will have my fly rods with me (plan to head toward Western MA later in the visit).  Anyway---is there any stream fishing (trout, smallies, etc) within reasonable driving distance from Princeton?  Any leads or information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!!
