[VFB] Another Bamboo Question

Ok I took all you guys had to say from our last discussion and purchased an old bamboo fly rod to restore, I found an easy project everything is perfect down to the wraps all I have to do is fix the varnish.  so the question is how do I fix the varnish?  I have looked all over the web and can't get an answere that I am satisfied with. Thanks for every thing, Zach p.s. I had the joy of converting 2 bait fisherman saturday. They will still fiddle with bait for a while I am sure, but both admited that there is nothing like catching a trout on "the fly".
