Theresa and Amanda bought me a Shakespeare 8' 7 Wt last year for fathers day. I know it wasn't expensive but it is a great rod. Have caught bass, blue gill and walleye on it and know it didn't cost over $20.00 at K Mart. Hope this helps. Jimi
