Hi from Mark's wife Valerie,

first I would like to comment on the PETA story.  Living here in Louisiana, I can tell you that if fishing in state parks was banned there would be   h..e..double hockey sticks to pay.

Now on to Mark.  Went up to the hospital to see him.  The nurse was getting him set in bed so I had to wait.  He cannot do this by himself.  Talked to the insurance group today.  The clinic that is in the hospital is not covered by our PPO and they will not accept what it has to offer therefore Mark cannot go into it.  I do not know if he will be transferred to another hospital or not, or if he will stay where he is.  He told me that his foot will probably have to be removed.

Now for those of you who met Mark and saw him with his beard and mustache, I have a picture of him without it.  It is at http://julenisse.denmark.com/mark.jpg
