Put the flies in an altoids tin or similar. Put the tin in a padded envelope with your return address on it. Put both in a plain envelope and post it off. Tin protects flies and padded envelope protects tin both trips. iain
I've got a question I'd like to put out to see how you all handle this. What is the approved method of tagging flies in a swap? In the past when it wouldn't do damage to the flies, I've sent them out in 3"x5" ziplock bags from Office Depot which allowed me to include any relevant information either printed on the bag itself or on a piece of paper that could be placed in the bag. For flies with delicate hackle or other features which render this option useless, what is the accepted practice? Thanks for your suggestions!
