I'd strongly recommend you go with the SAGE RPL+ for your Ocean stick, it's what I use to cast that 250 grain, 26 ft. intergrated shooting head & intermidiate running line from RIO & it handles it wonderfully!!!!. I can cast all day (damn near, anyhow) into the Pacific Coast surf & not notice any pain in my arm or wrist. Go for the SAGE, 9 ft. is what you want for an overall Ocean rod. Did you locate any of those Books I mentioned sometime back???
