[VFB] here's a question for you all

I received an e-news email from Orvis yesterday, and it included a photo of a guy fishing, wading in a stream with his dog at his side.   If I took Muddy Waters fishing with me, he would spook every single trout in the water within 5 minutes, by just being himself, a dog having fun, running around, splashing around in the water.   The question is, do any of you take your dog(s) fishing?  I mean to the degree that they are as quiet as you while you prospect for trout?   If you want to see the photo I'm talking about its here :  http://www.orvis.com/intro.asp?dir_id=758&Group_ID=&subject=405&adv=10652
