While he got a big hug for obedience, I learned to pay more attention. A few years ago one of the fishing mags had a cover photo of a guy and his dog. Many letter-writers complained about it, and I guess that they had a point if the dog�s out of control. However, heading into the mountains without my dog would have been inconceivable.
