Byard
I have dyed several types of material using various types of dye. One
word of caution is to go lightly. Materials and dyes have different
absorbtion rates. Most often when people try to dye something they end up
with a colour that is to dark. If the item is not dark enough you can
always add a pinch more dye or redye it with a slightly more
concentrated formula. Some colours
of dye will take a lot faster than others, So watch your materials
closely. one of my favorite ways to dye materials is to dye them a base
colour then over dye them with another colour.I get some interesting
shades and often a slightly varigated appearance.
Best of Luck
