I have the three weight in that model and it is my favorite rod to fish. It is quite simply a sweet rod. I have not fished the 5 weight in the model but I would think it would be a fine rod. The price would depend on the condition. I think the rod was about $475 new. Used maybe half that if in very good shape. Anything less and you have a great deal in my opinion.
