The more I use this rod the more I like it...I have been fly fishing for
almost 20 years and it has become my favourite rod already. I wonder why
Sage stopped making them? The 4 piece breakdown is an added bonus for me as
I travel a fair bit. What would be the equivalent (sort of) in their current
line?

Good choice!  I love mine.  Someone told me that this model was
Gary LaFontaine's favorite.  I do not know if that is so but it
is mine.
