Well, well, Murph.  You and I seem to have more in common than hot peppers and Chili.  I well remember riding my Norton Denominator at 130 mph on Interstate 65 north of Birmingham, Alabama, while being chased down the mountain by two 18 wheelers who ganged up on me and chased me to the bottom.   That was when I was young and dumb in the 50's.  I can still hear the throbbing roar of those twin French trumpets.  Sweetest sound I've ever heard. Even sweeter than my 57 Ford V-8 with Smitty mufflers,and that's saying a lot!  I got smart later on, when my Norton threw me and I landed with my head not more than a foot from a concrete slab. That was my last ride on a big bike!  After that I stuck to drag racing my 57 Ford at the NASCAR raceway in Montgomery.  Much safer!

Is that kilometers or miles per hour?  Last time I was on it I remember seeing the occasional wreck but remember they all seemed okay.  I do remember my '77 Norton Comando (last year they were made) vibrating the speedometer between 140-160 mph on the salt flats.  No clue what the true speed was as the vibration was scary.  Then I got smart and opted for trucks at 55 mph and flyfishing.
