You  just got real high on the Goldsmith list of all time heroes.  Never owned a Norton.  BSA, Triumph and

an Indian from the late 50's into the late 60's but never got got that damn Norton.  Actually one of favorites from that era

was a BSA "500" single lunger.  Sat about as high off the ground as a truck.  Great road bike. like riding in a  big

old Caddy.  But those Norton's would just bad a** mama's !!
