1st off!  Not a pro!  I've been fly fishing for over 25 years and tying for
about 15.

I totally suck at doing parachutes(sp?).

One thing that did help me with deer haired flies is a burner.  I got my
first one when I really smashed my big toe with a block.  At the ER, they
used a burner to "releave the pressure" under my toe nail.  It went home
with me and works wonders on shaping dear hair.  I think cortland sales one.
