OK Folks,
I am un-packing the materials I have and setting up the bench. I have
some hooks 18 to 22 and need to know what I would ask for as to hackle
feathers for dry flies for them. I really don't have any hackles suitable
for a quality dry fly, ( of any size), they are all fairly soft and won't
support the fly right off of the vice.
I would like to perfect my dry flies this winter, not only in quality
but getting smaller sizes. I do have to work this on a budget so if anyone
could suggest what I should look for and probably more important, what to
ask for, ( Saddles, neck, breast ???). This is where I am not very
knowledgeable. I am used to just using what I have and can't really identify
or express what I need.
