Now Bart you have raised another Question. I have 2 zip lock bags that have
feather hides in them. ( keep them closed and don't want to open them
because there seams to be some little "rust colored, worm type critter" in
there, ( sorry I am not a "Munch Bug- Oligist, I just normally smush em, not
identify them). One thing I don't want is for them to get into any other of
my tying stuff.

Now the question, you mention micro waving them, some mention moth balls,
and there is something else, I cant remember now, was it Bay Leaves ? Maybe
this is a 2 or 3 part question.

#1, What ways are there to treat materials with bugs and still be able to
use the ?

#2, what methods do folks use to keep bugs out in the first place ?

#3, what about keeping mice out of your material, under the bench or
possibly in storage ?

Thanks in advance for any input.
Jimi

One quick solution if you find "beasties" in your hackle, nuke it for about
30 to 45 seconds, no more "beasties".
