If mustad or partridge hooks are faulty post them
back to factory, i have, they were replaced and i
got freebies, no probs.

Like Tony I have also had to many hooks with open eyes.
I have also had misshaped bends & bent shanks. Does
anyone know of a source for eagle claw fly hooks?

That is the reason I quit using Mustads. Used to buy
them in bulk and still have a bunch with open eyes.
Got tired of cutting thread or making a large head
to close the eye.
