If you don't completely 'roll the sausage over', you'll be left with a
popper head with a hollowed out front end.  Adjust, shape, and dip into
thinned softex mixed with glitter.  Makes great panfish poppers,
bass-poppers and offshore surface flies, depending on what size tubing you
use.

Variations to this theme are as many as your imagination will allow.  Add
eyes, poke in feathers or rubber legs, add marker colors, a lip, make it
jointed, skirt it...

Add these to the standard baitfish the complete roll-over will give you, and
you'll quite the warm-water arsinal.
