Doc asked the question..what to do with braided mylar at the eye. I am just catching up, so if this was answered before, then mea culpa. To do a neat head. I put the braided mylar on with it first sticking out over the eye and tie and wrap it down. Then I tie on the underbody that I want to show through, usually silver or gold mylar. I then push the tube of mylar over the hook rather like turning a sausage inside out and then it goes nicely down and makes the tail. At the tail I tie it down again just at the end of the hook barb so that the fraying is contained to the "tail". Hope this helps. Joyce
