Well now, that story is a GREAT way to start the day. Thanks,
Jimi, it's really good to hear about such an encounter that was
so successful on several different levels. Your commitment to
"packing out" litter is a really great way to improve relations
and also improve the waterways. There's a nylon mesh bag that
is always in my vest for streamside litter. Dumping the day's
collection of trash at home is the last satisfaction in a good
day of fishing.

I am in total agreement. I bring along 2 trash bags with me on every trip. Too often was the time I needed them. I have gotten my niece into the same habit. Now when she picks up the trash she will shake her head and mutter "barbarians" or "what a shame" or something like that.
We need to pass this along to the next generation, for it is their future at stake, as well as the next ones.
