JIMI,

Beautiful Story!!!!  Amanda & Yourself showed the true spirit of Flyfishing... We tend to care more about the enviornment then other fishers...  I am always picking up other folks' trash.. A sad situation indeed, but i always try to make it more enjoyable..  I carry a small Kitchen trash bag in my Vest and pick up the small stuff as I go upstream. I leave the "Bigger" stuff in easy to find stacks to be picked up on the way out. Bigger stuff being cans, bottles & my favorite thing to pick up...Diapers!!!! It's a sad state of affairs that there are Slobs who are totally ignorant..or Stupid if you prefer, who can't see what they do as wrong..

I always try in my own humble way to educate folks about picking up after themselves... Kids are soo much easier to get this message thru to... "Adults" don't care, don't want to listen, or think you are insulting them & want to kick your butt.... afew close calls over the years... yet it certianly beats a run in with L.A. Gang members...

I actually incorperate Streamside trash patrol into the Flyfishing lessons I give.... Folks are understanding & love it that I'll included Trash Patrol into flyfishing lessons... Slowly, I'll convert the masses to trash patrol & we shall emerger victorious in this thing.....

Thanks again JIMI for such a wonderful story. Amanda & you have to take that Ranch Manager out flyfishing...

    DEAN....
