My first introduction to this list was to reply - with honesty and sincerity - that yes, I have been one who trims hackle. Just about the time I have lived that down - and come on!  Admit it!  When no one is looking we have all trimmed a hackle or two in our youthful abandon! - some temptress baits me into saying more than I ever intended to.
