Don, I think it is exactly the same thing. I just reread Fuzzy Nypmhs and comparing the two, found that Polly used rope dubbing for his shaggy bodies. Norm Norlander shows how to do it on his earliest rotary tying video, using the Norvise as the spinner. Like everything in flytying, I think that most of the things I think are brand new ways of doing things, are not new ideas, but rediscovery of previously used ideas.
