Deb,
This is where I get jumped on again for my
unsophisticated ways. . .but, hey! You're worth it!
From time to time I will run across material
that is either a little difficult to dub (too long, coarse, etc.) or not exactly
the color I want. Here's what I do. . .I use a coffee
grinder!
I cut the long suff up into shorter pieces and
sneak the coffee grinder out of the kitchen. I can add a little antron, a
little stiff hair, whatever and make a really nice blend.
Here's another tip. Keep a can of really
good coffee with chicory on hand - the cajun stuff. If you don't get the
blender completely clean, just tell your spouse you made cajun coffee this
morning! Has been working for me.
'Course my wife is pretty leery of cajun
food. If they leave hair in their coffee, just imagine what might be in
the mustard!!!
Merry Christmas!
Doug
