Hi Don:   I used to fish in England before coming to Canada. I used to fly-fish and coarse-fish. Coarse fishing is fishing for non-game species such as roach, rudd, tench, bream, carp, perch, pike etc (i.e non-salmonids).   What doe you mean coarse fish?  :)   Rick
