Jerry: The species of carp that I used to fish for were "Common" and "Mirror" carp. The third species of carp in that exists in England are "Crucian" carp. They are much smaller and I have never seen or caught one. The gravel pits that I used to fish in were somewhat "muddy" and not that suitable to fly-fishing.

In Florida we have the White Amur carp and we catch them on berry flies, piece of bread fly, or blade of grass flies. ARE THEY LURES OR FLIES ???? Am I flyfishing ??
