JIMMY,
Let's see if I'm qualified;
two of my closest friends; Scott & Sara Cooper, live in San Antonio. I vist them as much as possible... San Antonio is a great town...lotsa lovely old style Houses just north of Downtown... But The Greatest thing about San Antonio is all the Fantastic food you can get there: Bar-B-Q like no body's business, Tex-Mex...wonderful!!! Also ate a Sonics for the first time... Tasty Burgers & fries while staring at the Guadalupe River in the town of Kerrville..( a rest from getting ink drilled into my arm). And I LOVE What-a-Burger!!!! I wish they'd open those Burger joints up out here. Of course, Texas doesn't have TOMMY'S or IN-&-OUT BURGERS... I never drank Shiner Bock, But i was introduced to a interesting Drink a "Midore Mind Eraser" while shooting Darts in a San Antonio Pub..intresting mix of Texas & Jolly Ol' England....cool.
I fished Local creeks to the west of San Antonio for the Bass & Sunfish, Hunted Fossils along the banks"Devil's Toenails", tried to locate Arrowheads...but no such luck.. I visted the Alamo for the second time in my life, didn't do an Ozzy on that fine old building either... I had to dodge Crackles along the river front in the downtown district... noisey Birds...yes!!!
I attended a Wedding on Halloween day at a farm south of San Antonio, 1998. Mandatory costumes...I went as a vampire.... Saw may fine rainbows down there from the periodic rains going thru there..
A very fun State to vist yes.
So JIMMY, does this make me an Honorary Texan???
DEAN...
