Flat-bottomed canoes feel more stable, but will capsize more easily than a round model.
Henk; I will never have any other than my 17' Grumman flat bottom. I can stand up in it, cast and rarely hit bottom. Enjoy your round bottom but I prefer mine for every thing from class 4s to flat water. Murf
