I'm not Eddie. . .and we're both glad!

When I say mostly, I mean that I will add a little amonium nitrate to speed up a compost pile - don't lecture me on that!  I'm a certified Master Gardener! I do what works and causes the least harm to the envrionment! - and I've been know to use anti-fungal agents on cucumbers.

I tried catching grasshoppers last summer but I think my tippet was spooking them!  I have a nice pattern for a Tobbacco Leaf in a midge size if you want it.  They don't put up much of a fight and I durned sure don't release them, either!

At least it is that way in my backyard (mostly organic) garden. . .

C'mon Eddie; Either you are organic or not.  Refer to Rhodale's Organic Gardening books/magazines.  Me?  I went organic for a long while but have been known to use a bit of Miracle Grow 2 years back.  The weeds loved it.  Of course red rooted pigs tail is part of the amaranth family and edible.  Quite a few fish bones/heads and crab shells in the garden but the salt can't be good for them.  Horse manure from the neighbor helps but they are manure worms versus earth and disappear by July.  Current rain should bring the whole garden back to life with a few new molds and critters.
