It's at Westfly.com I use this site a good bit. It not only gives you patterns and instructions on how to tie many different flies, but how to fish them as well (something I've found very helpful since I'm still so new to this). It's turned out to be a great reference site.

A Brooks stone is also a simple pattern and works well. I don't have any idea where to show you a  

pattern.

A clark stone fly is a simple yet very effective pattern. If you go to the VFB web site and go to  

the Swaps page there is a picture of one in one of the stonefly swaps. We use them here in Oregon on

I'm looking for patterns to fish the Androscoggin next June. 

Does anyone have a pattern list for this river? 

I heard that black stone flies are popular. Does anyone have a simple easy to tie pattern for  

them? OK how about the most effective pattern for them.
